The Flash movie above is a 34 KB swf (Shockwave File), which is the type of file that Flash renders to display Flash movies. However, the greater majority of Flash movies on the Internet are only swf files and are not utlizing an external FLV (Flash Video) file, as this one is. The Flash movie above, pertaining to the swf is a mere 34 KB (Kilo Bytes), which all and all is still quite a large file on the Internet. However, the FLV file that it is reading from, which resides on the server is 8292.6 MB file. Although there are stand alone swf movies of this size and larger on the Internet, they really are not effective, because they take so long to load.
